Patients from other states and from all parts of the world come to consult and have surgery with Dr. Cortés, who is known worldwide as “Dr. Hourglass.” If you live a great distance from Houston, it would be our honor to arrange for your traveling needs. If you are considering one or more of the featured techniques developed by Dr. Cortés, such as a Wonder breast procedure or Hourglass buttock procedure, we can make your stay in Houston a pleasant, stress-free experience. Dr. Cortés’ office is located about 25 minutes from Houston’s Bush International Airport and only a short distance from the Galleria in the heart of downtown Houston. The Surgical Center is located about 20 minutes from the airport.
The best way to determine whether you might be a good candidate for a particular surgical procedure is to submit photographs by email to cosmeticinfo@drhourglass.com. Using these pictures, we can get an idea of your needs and evaluate your suitability for the specific plastic surgery procedure you desire. It is important that we get the pictures before your travel arrangements are made because some patients are not appropriate candidates for certain operations; knowing this ahead of time may save you an unnecessary trip.
After Dr. Cortés has reviewed your clinical history and photographs, we will either call you or e-mail you to let you know whether the operation you are requesting is likely to be appropriate for you. If you are a likely candidate for a specific surgery, we will set up a preoperative consultation and make hotel arrangements as needed. If the consultation confirms that you are a good candidate for surgery, we will give you a cost for the procedures and make further hotel arrangements as necessary.
Dr. Cortés performs his surgical procedures at the Houston Northwest Medical Center, which is located near the intersection of FM 1960 and Highway 45. After surgery, you will need to stay in the Houston area for 7 to 14 days, depending on the specific procedure you undergo, the usual healing time for that procedure, and specific recommendations by Dr. Cortés based on your individual situation.
Because your medical health and well-being are our chief concerns, it is vital that you disclose all your medical issues. Out-of-town patients are required to complete a form reporting any type of medical condition such as high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, etc., before traveling from other states or other countries. We also require a pregnancy test as well as a standard blood test to determine if you have underlying issues like anemia that would not allow you to have surgery with Dr. Cortés. We very much look forward to hearing from you, and we anticipate that your travel to Houston will be most beneficial, making possible the kind of wonderful body transformation for which Dr. Cortés is famous.
