Sculpting the arms combine with brachioplasty

Do you have a desire to make your arms look youthful and flawlessly sexy just like before? Then welcome to another video in our channel Star Bodies. It features how a brachioplasty combined with the sculpting of the arm is performed. When it comes to arm enhancement, we are proud to offer multiple techniques. The one to be recommended and used depends on the anatomical particularities of the patient and the excess amount of skin.

Below are the following special techniques:

If the patient’s skin is elastic enough to retract on the new contours of the arms after the removal of excess fat, then liposuction intervention will be recommended. However, if the patient has a poor skin quality, the procedure would only make sagginess more noticeable. That is why it is necessary to combine the method of liposuction with a brachioplasty to remove the adipose tissue and make the arms thinner.

If you have sagginess but only on the interior side of your arm, a Brachioplasty that uses a small incision would be perfect.  The surgeon will just have to pull and fold the excess skin under the arms, in the natural fold of the skin. The scar would be almost impossible to see. This procedure is highly recommended for patients who have lost the elasticity of their skin on the triceps and have lost a moderate amount of weight.

Traditional brachioplasty, on the other hand, is recommended for patients who have high skin ptosis. The main goal is to reduce excess skin. Extended brachioplasty is for patients who have lost an important amount of weight either after a weight loss program or bariatric surgery.

No matter what type of brachioplasty needs to be performed, the surgeon will mark the place of incision first.  It will also require the use of general anesthesia before performing liposuction. Then there will be the surgical removal of the excess skin, the redraping, and repositioning of the remaining tissues so the contour is harmonious.
