It is also rich in carotenoids including beta-carotene that the body also transforms into a type of Vitamin A, giving extra protection to the body. You can oven-bake the pumpkin and have it as a snack or together with lean meats as a meal. Pumpkin is delicious and very filling, so you won’t be fighting hunger afterwards.

Spinach is also rich in fibers, so it will help fight constipation that can occur after the procedure. You can have the spinach fresh in salads with lean meats or cheese, or boiled and mashed in a puree with a little bit of butter or salt.
