Jet liposuction is an advanced liposuction technique whereby a sophisticated, modern machine uses a placid liquid spray to rinse away the fat from your body. Also called water-assisted liposuction, this modern liposuction technique was tested and examined in Germany, where it was shown to have very effective fat harvesting capabilities. It was also found that the jet liposuction is successful when it comes to survival of the fat after being re-injected into the buttocks.
The success of Brazilian butt lift depends to a greater extent on the effectiveness of fat harvesting, the system being used, and the fat allocation procedure. There are a number of liposuction systems and tools available to harvest the fat. However, it is important to use a system that does not impair the fat cells during the fat removal process.
Below is a list of the standardized and accepted types of liposuction systems used worldwide for Brazilian butt lift:
- Tickle liposuction
- Power-assisted liposuction in low power mode
- Standard suction-assisted liposuction
- Body jet
Except for the benefits mentioned above, none of these systems offer any extra benefits. The remaining part of your procedure’s success depends on your plastic surgeon’s preference, skills, and experience.
You should steer clear of the following unacceptable liposuction systems for a Brazilian butt lift because they don’t offer effective results:
- Laser-assisted lipo, also called smart or slim lipo
- Ultrasonic-assisted lipo, also known as Vaser
These liposuction systems could injure the fat cells during harvesting, which would negatively affect the result of Brazilian butt lift. At my practice in Houston, I prefer to use power-assisted liposuction to extract fat cells for the Brazilian butt lift. It delivers impressive outcomes.
