I had my (hopefully) last baby three years ago and since then I’ve been fighting this feeling of being just a mom and less of a woman. I don’t know how to explain it but I guess many women feel it. When the house is full with children, you tend to become more of a provider and a carer, than the sexy, alluring woman you were before the pregnancy happened. My husband told me once he missed me. I thought it’s so crazy, we spend all evenings and weekends together, we are very fortunate compared to other couples and families, but it was only later on that I realized what he meant. He missed me, as in his sweetheart, not the mother of his children. And in a way, I missed myself too, but probably not as often as him. With time and with the kids becoming more and more independent I knew I had to do something to reconnect with my husband and with me. But it was hard to do this when I didn’t feel like me anymore. I started watching doctor Cortes videos on youtube just for fun, learning this and that. I started looking at before and after pictures of his patients on social media and this is when it hit me that I really really really want to get surgery too so I can get ME back.
The first consultation with Doctor Cortes was not really as expected. He is very calm and composed and very firm when he speaks. He told me what the recovery period entails and asked if I think I can go through with it. I told him I have four kids at home and he was worried I would have difficulties to keep up with my responsibilities at home during the recovery period. But I talked to my in laws to live with us for the first two weeks after my surgery so my husband has some help with the kids and I can do my own thing without worrying they will starve to death or miss school because I had plastic surgery.
I felt very comfortable with doctor Cortes and also with his team. I also met Janiris, doctor Cortes’s wife and she said we will keep in touch after the surgery too, so my recovery period will be monitored by the doctor and the staff at the practice. I feel confident to proceed and I can’t wait to see my new curves after the surgery!

I’m happy, happy, happy and I only have doctor Cortes to thank for this. Almost a year ago I had an hourglass mommy makeover with him and now I look like I’m not even a mommy, which is absolutely fabulous. Many people would be offended if people would ask them if they are the nanny of their own kids, but certainly not me because I know why this happens. I have three kids and when I take them all to the park and everybody asks if I’m the nanny I know they do because they think there is no way to have this body and three kids, and I am probably the sexy aupair from god knows where! Very comfortable coming to this office on a semi-regular basis…Everyone is pleasant and takes the time to listen to concerns, etc..

I wish I could give Dr. Cortes more than 5-stars. His service quality is exemplary. He did an hourglass lipo on me, and it came out perfectly. I can now wear my favorite jeans with confidence.

I have tried many diets to get my “momie” pouch to go away. Finally I found this wonderful guy. He gave me my body back. Very happy with his work.

I cannot say I was satisfied or dissatisfied as I am not through the full recovery so I have not seen my final results. I am hoping the areas I see that are troublesome to me are just part of the recovery time. Plus I love the physician assistants but I would think you would see the surgeon more then consult and surgery day.

I had all the information I needed to feel comfortable at every step in the process. My results are perfect and natural, which is all thanks to Dr. Cortes who told me not to go bigger (He was so right). I felt great the next day and was out and about. Truly such a great experience from start to finish! I am so happy now. Every time I look in the mirror or put on any shirt I just radiate confidence. I think people who are naturally self-conscious about a lot of things should avoid surgery but for me it was really just the size of my boobs as they didn’t match my body type. Now I feel fabulous 🙂 *
