What I tell doctor Cortes each time I go for a check up is that he did a much better job than mother nature and he is much more talented than her too! I mean my body before the surgery was regular, nothing to write home about, maybe the sagginess on the tummy and the fat, but those would have been negatives, other than this, nothing impressive. I had an hourglass tummy tuck with a breast lift and now I look like a celebrity, no jokes about it. I adore my body and I can’t believe it is possible nowadays to dream of a body and actually get it. I look now like in my wildest dreams and it was doctor Cortes who made it possible for me. The procedure was about four hours long, I didn’t have any complications and I am telling you, girls, go for it if you want to have the body of your dreams.

My story is rather sad, not is, better say was, but also very common and I want to talk about it so maybe others will see it and make better decisions for themselves. I was a dedicated wife, then a mother of three boys that we had together and three kids he had from a previous relationship who also lived with us. All my time, effort and the little money I had were put towards making the kids and husband happy and thought this was my happiness. I was happy to cook them dinner every evening, then serve them the food and then clean the table and do the dishes while they all minded their business. My husband was in charge of the finances, I didn’t miss anything, so what’s not to be happy. Until he left and left me with our three kids and took the others and sent them to their mom. I scheduled and rescheduled the consultation with Dr. Cortes for like three times. I so wanted to get the Brazilian butt lift, but I was afraid of the patient. My sister told me to just have the consultation and talk to the doctor about my fears and if I am not comfortable, I don’t have to get through with it. After the first ten minutes with doctor Cortes I knew I will be ok to have the surgery. He explained that the BBL is less invasive compared to the butt implants and the results are all natural, few and rare post-op complications and the pain is not so intense because the muscles are not sectioned like when the butt implants are inserted. He gave me so much confidence, it was like I could have got the surgery immediately! I was scheduled two months and a half from the time of the consultation, dr. Cortes is booked months in advance, but for me it was ok. He explained that it is not possible to get the surgery immediately, I needed to do blood tests and prepare a little.
The surgery day was ok, nothing special to report, not too much pain or anything. After I got home I struggled a bit with sleeping on the tummy and getting off the bed without help, but I got used to it in a few days. I had some questions about showing and cleaning the area so I called Janiris, the office manager, you won’t believe how kind and professional are these people, I absolutely adore them!
I’m grateful I met doctor Cortes and he did my BBL. I was scared of the surgery and I think that if I would have had the consultation with another doctor I would have never gone through with the procedure. Dr. Cortes is easy to trust and rely on because he is so friendly and experienced. So if you have a fear of pain, doctors and hospitals in general, try doctor Cortes and you’ll be ok.

I had my (hopefully) last baby three years ago and since then I’ve been fighting this feeling of being just a mom and less of a woman. I don’t know how to explain it but I guess many women feel it. When the house is full with children, you tend to become more of a provider and a carer, than the sexy, alluring woman you were before the pregnancy happened. My husband told me once he missed me. I thought it’s so crazy, we spend all evenings and weekends together, we are very fortunate compared to other couples and families, but it was only later on that I realized what he meant. He missed me, as in his sweetheart, not the mother of his children. And in a way, I missed myself too, but probably not as often as him. With time and with the kids becoming more and more independent I knew I had to do something to reconnect with my husband and with me. But it was hard to do this when I didn’t feel like me anymore. I started watching doctor Cortes videos on youtube just for fun, learning this and that. I started looking at before and after pictures of his patients on social media and this is when it hit me that I really really really want to get surgery too so I can get ME back.
The first consultation with Doctor Cortes was not really as expected. He is very calm and composed and very firm when he speaks. He told me what the recovery period entails and asked if I think I can go through with it. I told him I have four kids at home and he was worried I would have difficulties to keep up with my responsibilities at home during the recovery period. But I talked to my in laws to live with us for the first two weeks after my surgery so my husband has some help with the kids and I can do my own thing without worrying they will starve to death or miss school because I had plastic surgery.
I felt very comfortable with doctor Cortes and also with his team. I also met Janiris, doctor Cortes’s wife and she said we will keep in touch after the surgery too, so my recovery period will be monitored by the doctor and the staff at the practice. I feel confident to proceed and I can’t wait to see my new curves after the surgery!

I did it! I just had my wonder breast augmentation with doctor Cortes two days ago! It was an amazing experience and I am surprised every day by how the process evolves and by my look! I was always so self-aware because of the lack of boobs and always felt inadequate and not feminine enough. I became being more and more shy and avoided any situations when I should have been in charge, even at work, or at my kids school. There were days when I was thinking I could do so much more, but when it came down to it, I rarely did anything at all. I just didn’t feel right and I was always trying to hide myself in the background so other people won’t see how inadequate I am. And it was all my breasts. The pain is not easy to endure, but I know it is all worth it.

Dr. Cortes is my favorite doctor in the whole wide world now! If it would be possible, I would go see him for all my health issues! He is so kind and accommodating and so professional and I felt so good during the consultation and even after the surgery that I recommend him to everyone looking for plastic surgery on the body. Cortes really cares about the patient’s wellbeing and he will give you lots of tips and advices to get well soon and face no complications. There is nothing that I regret about my surgery, maybe just the fact that I didn’t have the two procedures at the same time, as he initially suggested, but I wasn’t convinced at that time.

About two years ago I had a breast augmentation in Thailand, I though is a good idea to get bigger breasts since I was there for over a month visiting friends that relocated there. The cost of the procedure was very cheap and my friends kept telling me that Thailand is amazing for plastic surgery. Anyway, I did it. Some get tattoos when they are drunk, I got bigger boobs. It wasn’t a stellar idea to be honest and I don’t recommend this to anyone. The first consultation was ok, he said that plastic surgery abroad is rarely a good idea and I completely agreed, but now we have to fix it. I told him to just take the implants out and leave the breasts as they are, but he said this is not a good idea, the breasts will be saggy after being stretched by the implant for so long. He recommended either to change the implants with new ones, a better quality, or to get a breast lift. I chose to get new implants since I got used to the idea meanwhile, so why not. This time around, after the surgery I think I was in less pain than the first one and doctor Cortes prescribed analgesic medication and antibiotics, so I don’t get an infection again. The breasts look much better, feel much better and I am more happy than before.
I wouldn’t advise anyone to get surgery abroad, everything is simple until you face a complication, then you are just a nuisance for them and they want to get rid of you as soon as possible. Here, I felt great with doctor Cortes and his team. They are amazing people and highly experienced and professional.

The butt looked good after the surgery too, as the doctor used both implants and fat, but after two months or so, my whole midline was changed and my waist was thinner than ever. I had curves, something I always wanted and I was so proud of my new body that I showed it of at every event I got the chance of attending.
