Doctor Cortes did my hourglass tummy tuck one and a half months ago. I am still during recovery, but I have returned to work for about two weeks now and I can do much of the stuff I did before around the house and for my family. Having the surgery was a good idea for me as I was unhappy with my body and because I thought there is no hope to get better, I was actually getting worst by eating too much of the wrong things and avoiding exercising because it made me sweaty and uncomfortable. I saw doctor Cortes after my mother made me feel very self-aware at some lunch we had together and she mentioned him and I thought I should give it a look, at least see what can be done with this. The best thing about doctor Cortes is that he kept me away from making a big mistake that could have lead to many complications after. Before I met doctor Cortes, I saw another surgeon and he agreed to do my breast augmentation with 650 ccs implants. I wanted to have breasts just like my friend, just that perfect size, she got 650 ccs and I thought the same should be good for me too, considering the fact that we are about the same height. I didn’t go through with the surgery with the other doctor because my sister has worked in a plastic surgery clinic for a while and when I told her what my plans are she said that 650 ccs is huge for me and no doctor in his right mind would give me implants this big. This made me think and I thought getting a second opinion won’t hurt. I ended up seeing doctor Cortes for a consultation and he made me try sizers to understand what I wanted. It felt so strange and the implants were so big. To give you an idea, I am tall, but slim with a very narrow back. Doctor Cortes said no way, he won’t do more than 450 ccs on me and this is huge as it is. After I realized my mistake I asked him what would he do if he were me and he said 375 ccs would look perfect.
I am now happy I met him and followed his recommendations, I got the smaller implants and my breasts look amazing now. They are just the right size and they don’t make my back hurt which I heard is very common with women who get implants that are too big for them. I am grateful for meeting doctor Cortes and I have avoided health issues later.

Unlike it is the case of other people, plastic surgery didn’t happen to be in a heartbeat. All in all, my hourglass butt augmentation was a good experience and this is mostly thanks to dr. Cortes and his good advices. Also, his staff is always there to answer questions or help, if you needed it and this can make all the difference, especially when you are faced with making a tough decision and don’t know which way to go to be ok. The level of care received from dr. Cortes and his staff was off the charts and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of plastic surgery. More than this, he is a very fair person and never tries to make things better or worse to serve his purpose. He is very professional and straight forward and you always know where you stand with him.

I had my (hopefully) last baby three years ago and since then I’ve been fighting this feeling of being just a mom and less of a woman. I don’t know how to explain it but I guess many women feel it.
